Walk Update

Thank you everyone for your support on the March for Babies walk. Rob, my mom, and I went last Saturday and it was a great day. Thanks you all of you, we exceeded our goal! The weather was beautiful and capitol park was lovely. Here is a picture of Rob and I in front of the capitol.

You may also be able to make out the tattoo on my arm in the above picture, so here is a better view. I got this last month and it is the names of our three girls in Hebrew, in their birth order.

I am so sorry for your losses.

I came across your blog online when I was searching for information on a cerclage.

We lost our 24 week twins 3 days after they were born in April this year. I had incompetent cervix diagnosed during this pregnancy and had a cerclage placed at 16.5 weeks and did 8 weeks of bedrest. Essentially I dilated through the cerclage.

We are going to place a transabdominal cerclage (needs to be done with a laparaotomy or laprascopically) in case we want to try again. It can be placed pre or during pregancy. With a TAC you don't have to do bedrest etc. There is a 95% success rate with this procedure.

Abbyloopers- www.abbeyloopers.org is dedicated to information on the TAC.

Not many doctors do this procedure. The best two are in Chicago and NJ. Luckily for me there is a doctor in Boston who also does the procedure.

If you want more information check out the website or email me at monizcel@gmail.com

Good luck!

Good

Jen I am so sorry for your losses.
I came across your blog as I was trying to make sense of my own loss. My heart aches like it has never ached before. How courageous you were to get pregnant with your twins, so soon after Makeena.
My identical twins girls were born still just 4 days ago on May 8th. They were diagnosed with Twin-Twin Transfusion at 16 weeks, but had been growing stronger and their fluid was balancing out. Then within 2 days everything changed. What did I do wrong? I know I am not supposed to think that way, but cannot help it. Today is our wedding anniversary and of course Sunday was Mother's day, where women who have no business being parents get to celebrate while people like you and me have a hole the size of Texas where our hearts are supposed to be. It is so not fair. I am sorry to rant and be bitter, but it is all still so fresh for me.
We have been trying for 5 years to get pregnant. They were our 2nd IVF attempt (the first one ended with a blighted ovum in June 2009)after a dozen IUI attempts. This was our "last shot". Now what do we do?
It seems as though you are healing and you give me hope, so thank you. I, too, am trying to remember that God has a plan for us and wants us to be happy, but right now I am so angry that He let this happen. He does miracles all the time, why couldn't we have one?
Good luck to both you and Rob. I hope that you get all that you want and deserve.

I have left a comment before as we can relate to your pain. We had 3 miscarriages in 2008 and are currently 15 weeks pregnant again. Praying for a better outcome this year regarding pregnancy, knowing that it is all in God's hands! Again I am sorry for your losses and continue to pray for you and your journey. I have a question for you that is non-related to pregancy loss. I need help putting together a play list to post on a blog I created for my 27 year old brother who passed away May 6th, 2009. I wouldn't bother you if it wasn't important to me. Your blog is the first one that I have come across with a play list of songs so that is why I write to you. If you are able and interested in helping me..please contact me at blharsh@hotmail.com.

Hi Jennell,

I have been following your blog since November 4th, the day your girls went to heaven. I check back often for updates and noticed that you have a new blog. I tried to access it, but it looks like it's open by invitation only. If you're opening it up, I would love to see what's new with you. :)

We lost our daughter Mallory at 23 weeks. She was born sleeping on 7/29/08. Before Mallory, I miscarried at 13 weeks. I follow many baby blogs, but I have never posted until now. We actually have so much in common, so I can identify with so many things that you have written. I will sign in with my husband's google account below, so please email me if you are opening it up to others. If not, that is fine, too and I understand.

I also have always wanted to tell you that you picked such beautiful names for your girls! :) I still think of you often and you're always in my prayers.

I and my husband have gone to different hospitals having the thinking that I was at fault for not getting pregnant. But at the Federal hospital, they examined him too and his sperm count was low and unable to get a woman pregnant as a result of male infertility. It was then I sort out, thanks to Dr Mandaker.
